In June 2026, Paris once again became the meeting point for the world’s most forward-thinking innovators as Viva Technology, known globally as VivaTech, brought together leaders from technology, fashion, retail, and business. WEARFITS was proud to be part of this major event, presenting solutions that push digital commerce beyond imagination and into real, interactive experience. As exhibitors, we introduced the next stage of retail infrastructure, where online shopping becomes more visual, more personal, and far more reliable.

Our booth quickly attracted strong attention from decision-makers across the fashion industry. Visitors included representatives of both luxury houses and global sportswear brands, all looking for new ways to increase customer confidence and reduce uncertainty in the buying journey.

Presenting Virtual Try-On to the World’s Leading Brands

One of the most important highlights of VivaTech 2026 was the opportunity to present WEARFITS technology to some of the most respected names in the industry. We had the privilege of discussing our Virtual Try-On solutions with representatives from brands such as Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co, Rolex, Asics, Lacoste, Celine, and Chanel.

For luxury brands, every detail matters. Heritage, craftsmanship, shape, materials, and proportions must be represented with absolute accuracy. This is where our digital twin technology stood out. Instead of relying on flat, pixel-based visualizations that can alter important product details, WEARFITS creates precise 3D versions of real products. These digital twins preserve geometry, material structure, textures such as leather grain, canvas weave, and stitching, as well as the natural behavior of the product in motion.

Bags and Backpacks: Going Beyond Simple Visual Demos

Our virtual try-on technology for bags and backpacks generated particular interest among brands. During our conversations, we explained why many traditional bag try-on tools fall short. The challenge is not only visual quality, but also physics, body interaction, and carry style.

WEARFITS supports a wide range of bag silhouettes, including crossbody bags, totes, clutches, and backpacks. Users can change how they carry a product during the same experience, making the try-on process more flexible and realistic. With Smart Occlusion, bags interact naturally with the body. Straps can appear behind the shoulder, disappear under clothing, or adjust visually to the user’s posture. This helps shoppers immediately understand size, scale, and proportion.

We also recently introduced advanced bag physics, making movement and positioning feel even closer to reality. This level of realism strongly resonated with luxury brands, where product presentation must reflect both elegance and precision.

Solving Sizing with Heatmap Technology

Another major point of interest at VivaTech was our newest solution: WEARFITS Virtual Try-On & Sizing for Shoes. Footwear brands showed strong interest in this feature, especially because sizing remains one of the biggest challenges in online retail. Poor fit continues to be a major reason for product returns, creating unnecessary costs for brands and frustration for customers.

Our system combines photorealistic AR visualization with an AI-powered fit recommendation in one clear view. One of the most engaging elements was the thermal heatmap, where teal shows areas of ideal fit and coral highlights potential pressure points. With a quick 60-second scan using a phone, WEARFITS can achieve 99% measurement accuracy, helping customers choose the right size with greater confidence.

This also helps reduce bracketing, the common habit of ordering multiple sizes of the same product just to try them on at home. For brands handling large order volumes, even a 20% reduction in returns can create significant savings and improve operational efficiency.

Generative AI for Apparel Try-On

For fashion brands focused on apparel we presented our Gen AI virtual try-on API. Today’s shoppers, especially Gen Z, expect digital experiences that are useful, personalized, and easy to use. Our solution allows brands to keep full control over their customer experience while offering realistic try-on functionality.

The WEARFITS engine is fabric-aware, which means it understands how different materials behave. It can reflect the lightness and drape of silk, the structure of denim, or the weight of heavier fabrics. Instead of simply placing clothing on an image, the system shows how a garment would actually sit and fall on the customer’s body, helping shoppers make better-informed decisions.

Scalable 3D Production from Photos

A key factor that made WEARFITS stand out at VivaTech was our 3D-from-photo production pipeline. Many brands with large product catalogs were surprised to learn that WEARFITS can digitize up to 100 products in only two hours using standard packshot photography.

This removes the need for expensive CAD files, complex production workflows, or manual 3D modeling for every item. As a result, brands can make AR and virtual try-on available across entire catalogs, rather than limiting the experience to a small number of flagship or “hero” products.

Conclusion: Retail Is Becoming Truly Omnichannel

VivaTech 2026 made one thing clear: the future of commerce is interactive, connected, and experience-driven. WEARFITS provides the technology layer that links e-commerce platforms, mobile applications, and AR mirrors in physical flagship stores into one unified retail infrastructure.

Our meetings with some of the world’s most influential brands confirmed that virtual try-on is no longer just an exciting innovation. In 2026, it has become a practical and essential tool for increasing margins, reducing returns, and building stronger customer trust.
